Usually IITs declare 10 % more All India Ranks than their intake capacity and after these students they prepare extended merit list. IITs have clearly mentioned that students in EML are not eligible for admission in IITs where as they can apply for other colleges like IIST and IISER.
Obviously Yes. Whenever a child works hard for his/her studies at home, his/her mind generates a lot of fundamental questions regarding the topic, they need to be discussed as soon as possible with faculties. Students can call upon the faculty of respective subject for the appointment and clear all of his/her personal difficulties.
No. We at RADIANCE feels that a class X or XI passed student can’t judge whether a particular effort of a faculty is necessary and sufficient for IITJEE & AIEEE or not. So have faith in the our system because its proven and already produced miracles from Jabalpur. At some stage you may find few difficulties (as happens with every successful student), don’t panic or worry, we will be there to help you out. Keep discussing your difficulties (both academic and non-academic) with us frequently.
No. RADIANCE provides various options to pay the entire fee. Choose your plan wisely so that you don’t need to take refund at any stage. As per our experience only irregular students asks for refunds, so we will advice you that think twice. If you feel that you can work hard then only join us. Whereas refunding of fee can be considered only if the parents of the student are transferred somewhere else.
Solo study is more productive because preparing for IITJEE demands concentration and solo study can induce creative thinking in students' mind and once this stage is achieved, IITJEE becomes a sure success event.
No. Coaching or Complete Training (as we call it) is the BRIDGE between the school studies and the competitive exam preparation. A Good training Institute like RADIANCE provides a bridge by way of good teachers, comprehensive study package, test Series, very good mentoring and above all a system, which will help you, cross the Bridge. In other words we accelerate the process of learning.
Yes. Because IITJEE is not a tough exam, but it is a bit different type of exam. Consistency, creativity and proper time management is required to crack IITJEE. The proof is our one of the students Ankit Sharma (AIR-4, IITJEE, 2004), who used to study an average of 4 hours per day!
No, not at all because the syllabus for IIT-JEE is the same as that for classes XI and XII. Moreover, at RADIANCE every topic is started right from basics and we believe that if a student has a strong understanding of fundamentals in any particular topic, then he/she will be able to solve any type of problem, no matter whether the problem is subjective/objective, appears in IITJEE or any board exam.
Yes, he/she can but he/she must be able to understand English well and willing to cope up with it, because the mode of instruction will be English only, although the faculties can use Hindi depending upon the need of the students. The study material will also be available in English only.
At present RADIANCE does not have its own hostel but it has tied up with good hostels in Jabalpur for boys and girls where students can comfortably reside.
Gone are those days when quality teaching was available only at the selected places. In today's world of globalization, success in any exam is not restricted to some city or region. Moreover, the age at which a student prepares for IIT-JEE is the one during which he/she needs motivation and parental care most, because for IIT-JEE one must be given an optimum dose of psychological and academic teaching so that he/she do not get onto the wrong path. Moreover the faculties at RADIANCE are the same who taught at Delhi and Kota. Suppose you went to Kota/Delhi and joined so called good institute for IITJEE, then usually you are taught by faculties with even half the experience of faculties at RADIANCE because most of the coaching institutes prefer to employ fresh engineering graduates as their faculty member and they keep faculties shuffling due to which student-teacher co-ordination is practically missing. Even the percentage selections in IITJEE from RADIANCE is comparable and at par as compared with those of leading coaching institutes at Kota, Delhi or elsewhere.
First of all AIEEE is not an easier exam. Because the ranks in AIEEE range from 1 to 6.5 lacs (2008) approx. and only about top 65000 students are called for central counselling whereas only top 20000 are having chances to get admissions in NITs. So, if you are thinking for AIEEE than you should think about top 15000 seats only which is not an easy job. Secondly, we can tell from our experience that only those students excel in AIEEE who prepared for IITJEE. Both IITJEE and AIEEE have same syllabus and require in depth knowledge of syllabus which we are providing at RADIANCE that is why we do not have separate batches for IITJEE and AIEEE. If you want to hit the tree top, aim for the sky.
No, Preparations are not different for AIEEE because syllabus is almost the same as that of XI and XII taken together but as we know that IITJEE is based on conceptual knowledge, hence preparing for IITJEE helps in securing good rank in other competitive exams also.
Yes, at RADIANCE we start each and every topic right from the fundamentals and then after covering the whole syllabus of class XI and/or XII, we gradually proceed for in-depth concept clearance required for great success in school as well as in IITJEE.
Whenever a student will come to RADIANCE for classes, he/she will be required to attend two classes, each of 2 hours duration, with a break of 15 minutes between them. For school going students the classes are scheduled in evening hours (from 3:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.) for droppers the classes are scheduled in morning hours (from 10:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.).
Selection in IIT-JEE depends on the quality of hours taught, not on its quantity. For that RADIANCE has IIT-JEE Experts. Also, RADIANCE spends a large chunk in research and development of study materials and teaching methodology, which no other coaching does. Individual tutors are concerned only about their own subject and they lack synchronization with other subjects(s). Since they don't usually have a team working behind them hence they lack in giving proper study material, formula sheets and Practice Problem Sheets. (They rely on some standard books only). In short 'Quality never comes cheap'.
Admission to all Classroom Programs will be on the basis of Scholarship-cum-Admission tests conducted by RADIANCE and there will be direct admission to Non Classroom Programs and Crash Course as per the eligibility criteria/norms.
As we do not believe in claiming fake results all the above mentioned results are from regular long term classroom programs only. Beware of fake results that various coaching are claiming these days. What is a “Fake Result”? Suppose any student came to us to ask few doubts or had given few of our tests and afterwards if he/she got selected in IITJEE and/ or AIEEE then if we claim him/her as a selection from our institute, this claiming is called fake result claiming because the credit of his/her selection goes to that institute/teacher(s) who hadactually taught him/her. Even various coaching institutes add the selections from Test Series (Actually not studying in their institute) and Classroom Program (Their true selections) to increase their number of selections and misguide the aspirants. We only claim those students who have studied at RADIANCE for a minimum of one year duration.
2 students in IIT-JEE, 2003. 4 students in IIT-JEE, 2004. (Ankit Sharma, A.I.R.-4 in IIT-JEE, 2004 was taught by RADIANCE faculties only) 4 students in IITJEE, 2005. 13 students in IITJEE, 2006. 24 students in main merit list and 10 in extended merit list in IITJEE, 2007. 16 students in main merit list and 4 in extended merit list in IITJEE, 2008. 35 students in main merit list and 88 in extended merit list in IITJEE, 2009.
At RADIANCE students not only achieve academic excellence but also learn various techniques for concentration, avoiding silly mistakes, developing examination temperament, motivation, time management, and techniques to improve quantity and quality of hours and how to make their school hours more productive and useful. That is why we call RADIANCE a training institute not a coaching centre.
Preparing for IIT-JEE & AIEEE requires a very focused and specific input and that too in a strategic planned manner. Mere teaching in a conventional style and completing the syllabus is not enough. The pursuit of IITJEE is a full-time pre occupation with the serious contenders. All the faculty members of RADIANCE are available for full-time at the institute. Hence, their commitment is distinctly higher than visiting/part time faculty. Having very specific and focused team of trainers for IITJEE is one of the milestones in the field of IITJEE training & the credit goes to RADIANCE.
1. Very trained and experienced faculties. 2. A Comprehensive Study Package, which is upgraded each year to stay in tune with the ever-changing pattern of the IIT-JEE. Also provides Question Bank for practicing IIT-JEE level questions to help the student achieve higher level of perfection. 3. A Test Series which includes RADIANCE as well as non RADIANCE students so as to maximize the range of competition. The test results are analyzed to give you your rank and chances of cracking the JEE. 4. Classroom Programs for XI studying, XII studying and XII pass students which provide “Complete Training”. 5. Correspondence Courses which include study materials, tests at regular intervals and Test Series for 2 year and 1 year programs. 6. A Crash course for the aspirants of AIEEE and PET.
